"OncoChat"

Clinical decision making by ChatGPT vs medical oncologists: A retrospective concordance study.
This research explores the application of AI language models in clinical decision-making within the context of oncology, focusing on the concordance between AI-generated recommendations and actual treatment decisions made by physicians. Our great team of volunteers were perfoming as investigators in this research, working with patients data and ChatGPT. You can see the results of the research in the abstract published in the journal of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

"Nivolumab as alternative treatment"

Single-Center Experience of Nivolumab Use for Refractory/Relapsed Lymphome Patients in Limited Resources Area.
The primary aim of this retrospective study is to analyze data of patients with r/r HL and non-HL managed with nivolumab in Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center. A secondary objective is to examine whether dose reduction of nivolumab to 40mg every 2 weeks may be a successful choice in resource-limited settings, as prescribed in previous research papers. You can see the results of the research in the abstract published in European Hematology Association library journal (EHA library), where our volunteers are mentioned as co-authors.

"Road Mapping"

The objective of this research was to identify potentially hazardous locations for pedestrians through an audit of roads in Yerevan. Volunteers who were a part of the audit team aided in pinpointing risks for pedestrians by surveying the roadways, midblocks, and intersections from the Kentron area of Yerevan. The project was led by Dr. Sharon Chekijian M.D., MPH, associate professor of Emergency Medicine at Yale University, and Emily Terian, Emergency Medicine Resident at the University of Chicago. Our project also represented a collaborative effort to enhance road safety in Armenia, by leveraging international contributions from both Yerevan and the United States.

The research organized by professionals from the National Cetner of Oncology seeks to conduct a comprehensive comparative effectiveness analysis of various treatment modalities for lung cancer, aiming to identify the most efficacious and well-tolerated therapeutic approaches, tailored to fit the best for Armenian population. By systematically evaluating the outcomes associated with each treatment modality, this study aims to provide evidence-based recommendations for treatment selection and personalized therapeutic strategies. The findings of this research have the potential to assist the process of guideline development.

"Cancer risk awareness"

Cancer Risk Awareness was a research organized and conducted by the team of BIL Armenia, where over 400 members of Armenian population were asked 10 questions about various cancer risk factors. While gathering the date, our volunteers were also giving the corret answers to all questions, making this project not olny a research, but also an awareness raising opportunity.
