NGA

National General Assembly is our annual signature event, bringing together members from all throughout the organization for a time of reflection, learning, and cooperation. It's an important milestone in our calendar, when we discuss important topics, hear from industry professionals, and plan for the future. During the NGA, attendees actively participate in insightful discussions guided by skilled experts on a wide variety of key themes relevant to our organization and industry. These conversations delve into numerous areas of strategic planning, creative methodologies, effective leadership practices, and problem-solving strategies, resulting in an energetic exchange of ideas and viewpoints.

As mentioned, NGA is held twice a year: once in winter, called WNGA, and once in summer - SNGA. During WNGA, all team members of the association come together to have a couple of productive, entertaining, and fun days. This event fosters collaboration, networking, knowledge, and experience sharing and serves as a tool for each member to sense the community belonging. Meanwhile, SNGA gathers a broader community of BIL Armenia, which includes all the friends and partners and everyone interested in the field. 


The first NGA was held in 2023, March 4 and 5. During those two days, BIL Team members and partners gathered in the RCSC (Russian Center of Science and Culture) and spent incredibly effective and memorable days. All of the Heads of Departments introduced their respective departments, talked about their achievements and future plans. Undoubtedly, the President of the association had a chance to present the history of BIL Armenia, how it started, and how it goes. The event then was followed by team-building activities that facilitated teamwork, let members get to know each other better, and by working sessions with randomly chosen groups of teammates that allowed the team to work together apart from having fun. Moreover, our friends and partners held informative training on non-medical topics like “Public Speaking” and “Risk Management,” which allowed young people to gain practical and workplace-specific skills they will surely use in real life. 


The second assembly, more specifically WNGA, was held in 2024, on February 24 and 25, and, in contrast to the previous year, was mainly focused on communicating and working. This time, it was also designed specifically for the team members. The WNGA’24 was a great mixture of training and team-building activities, as well as working sessions and presentations. The training included more specific topics like “Introduction to Marketing”, “How to Build Connections”, and “Learn by Doing.” Unlike last year, working sessions this year were aimed to gather each department together, which showed a greater enthusiasm and effectiveness of the working process. At the end of the event, each department reflected on the work they had been doing for two days.
